Out There’s thread on Range Hood Removal and Computer Fan Replacement from the Casita Club Forum got me started on the modification. Hood removal is easy - 4 screws, a little silicon. Pull the carpet up in the cabinet above, remove the small wooden blocks that held the hood screws, and reroute the wires. I ordered 3 Scythe Kama 92mm Fans from Xoide. Fans come in just about any size you want and the fans I bought were too big to fit in the vent rectangle cut by Casita. I planed a board down to 3/8” thick, cut 3 round holes for the fans, mounted the fans. I made a u-shaped frame the same thickness as the fans, surrounding the fans on three sides. I used 6 screws to attach the fans to the u-shaped frame. I used double-sided foam tape to mount the unit. I bought a vent filter and cut it down and attached with foam tape.
